We can use this in real life as whenever we would like to freeze water for ice to put in our drinks we can shorten the waiting time by using this effect. We can also use this to help the skiing companies to be able to operate every winter even if the cold does come long enough for the snow to come they can use this effect to their advantage.
Areas for further studies
We could have tested on other impurities(vinegar,oil etc) and also see whether colder water can boil faster than hotter water.
We could have also tested on soft drinks whether the amount of colouring and flavouring in the drink would affect the freezing point of it.
